About it


Alice Capelli's performative intervention for Esogenesi exhibition at Studiohomeawareness.
The human being in the world from an exogenous standpoint. In dialogue with the exhibition that puts the human being at the centre of the world and the various exogenous systems. Here we are like findings, traces of someone or something, reference to the concept of “being left”, being here again in a continuous action looking for traces that recall the memories we still keep. The vision of the most simple relation becomes provoking with the action of ripping the materia from the body as a sign of complete dedication. The traces become evidences,the skin is a generative element embracing the natural ambient around us. The sand and the hairs recall the ritual of burial and our efforts of keeping with us the last organic elements that still ward a memory of a life and a living being that we used to be.
